review* Mistress Nora lives up to her reputation and her own brand of dominance can be clearly seen.  She is instantly ensnared by the beauty and charily of ex-Navy SEAL, Lance.  Lance is a sexy newcomer to The 8th Circle. He provides Mistress Nora with lust at first sight and the perfect distraction, since leaving her lover and only love, Søren. Mistress Nora takes great delight in her session with Lance but this session is cut short when danger comes knocking on the doors of their community.

review*  Lance receives a very big surprise when he sees multiple bruises across Nora's body. Lance is extremely angry that she puts herself in the position to obtain such. Unaccustomed to the desires of pain in a woman he is confused by such abuse of a woman. Blunt and true to self, Mistress Nora share her secret that is only known by two others. In the process, she's becomes shocked to learn that Lance has some secrets of his own. Secrets that allows for her to see him in a different light. These secrets draw them together despite the orders Kingsley's issued.

review*  Mistress Nora has a conflict of emotions following her encounters with Soren and Lance.  Now, she is free to return to the bed of Lance or have him return to her's.  After this encounter, she begins to toy with the idea that she could make him her own.  Never having collard anyone before this is a big step for her.  The more she toys with this idea the more she see there is a part of Lance she will not be part of.  Knowing she can help with this she sets out to provide the rescue of her handsome knight.

review*  Mistress Nora is no longer in any danger and has a new dilemma on her hands.  She no longer needs a bodyguard.  Lance has made an impact on her life.  She wishes to make a positive impact on his life. She wants to keep him or is at least contemplating the possibility.  She pondered what she could do to make his fondest wish come true.  She takes that leap to use her connections to acquire Lance the assistance that is needed to get what he wants most.

Reisz makes her mark on the Original Sinner series and place things in Mistress Nora's life in clear focus.

Thanks, Net Galley.
